I'm only recently getting into the pencil world, making purchases of General's and Musgrave's pencils, and only today have I dared to approach the legend of the Blackwing. Seeing that it has such a terrific pedigree of usage, I may have to pick up a box.

I sharpening pencils that's why I don't like mechanical pencils or lead holders but I love that mini straight edge you have there

I have the same sharpener but whenever I sharpen pencils it damages the pencil. Anyways to stop the damaging from happening?

I've tried these ( 602) and didn't think they were worth all the hype and expensive price.
Don't get me wrong they ARE good pencils, but you can get a lot of good pencils cheaper.
They seem to be about 4B or so.

What sharpener do you use in the video? It gives a wonderful point that I haven't been able to get with any of mine.

it's actually a grade B although they don't print that info in the pencil or in the box

Quick question. What is the brand of that sharpener, I absolutely love it and have seen something similar albeit not as good looking made by Mitsubishi.
