GCP Cloud DNS: Point your GoDaddy domain name to a Google Cloud Instance.
This video shows you how to connect your domain name to a google cloud instance.

In cloud computing, a static IP address is used for DNS queries. If IPs are changing, this can affect the content loading process. Static IP addresses are IPs which do not change.

00:00 - 01:13 - How to change the domain name to the static domain name in Google Cloud platform
01:14 - Create zone in Network services, Cloud DNS.
02:08 - 03:12 Create the record for IPv4 (create the record for IPv6) to address hostname to IP address.
03:14 - 03:53 Create the CName canonical name - alias names for subdomain www.
03:54 - Copy Data and put it into GoDaddy network services. Substitute GoDaddy name services to our own name services.
04:40 - 05:42 - Install Nginx to Google Cloud server instance
05:43 - 06:08 - Go to the domain name page to check if we pointed GoDaddy domain name to a Google Cloud Instance. If we see the default Nginx default page it means everything works correctly.

This is helpful. But despite setting up the DNS Zone, the domain is redirecting to ip. What could be the possible reason. I installed wordpress in GCP VM instance

Anyone can create the same dns cloud? I don't see any token or security step to avoid anyone can create a zone in cloud dns with your domain.

4:36 is where I get an error from GoDaddy when I use a dot (.) at the end of my DNS nameserver. Somehow, you seem to have the same error (seen on your tab) on some other part of the video that you skipped.

nice one you tricked me, in the video tutorial she lead you to how configure cloud DNS but in 4:49 if you follow her you will end your server and you will loose controll over it becouse it install on your server NGINX Agent and you cant remove it later so your domain becomes useless and always lead to NGINX page...only thing if she trick you can do is delete instance and bucket, and work all again on server..
