Holly Rowe interviews Angel Reese after she recorded a double-double in Team WNBA’s win over Team USA in the 2024 All-Star Game.

The coach apparently didn’t really believe in Angel at first, but by the end of the game she was a believer. Angel said in an interview after the game that the coach said to her “I’m starting to like you” near the end of the game. She saw all the little things and intangibles that Angel does and how she works to lock down people on defense.

Her teammates missed her open 3/4x and coach limited her & CC shared mins. 8 players had more mins than Angel and she still had 12pts 11rbs 1 stl 1 blk and shot 50%. 18 mins when others got 25 / 30 yet she still has a rookie record dbl dbl & tied most rbs by a rookie in the all star game

Angel came in doing what she's BEEN doing. No changing scripts or anything. She came in w defense first, then the signature O board and putback. Everybody got to see firsthand what she was about and ALWAYS steps when the lights are brightest despite all the nastiness and negativity. Reese is a winner. If the NBA players played this hard, they would be the WNBA. Hustle and hard work. Some say Reese is Worm-like or DayDay-like, both are amazing compliments. Reese is more Piston/Bull's Rodman, all-day energy, but with a million-dollar personality. Glad they represent the US, but what kind of love would USA Women's Soccer, Hockey, or Basketball teams get if they represented... Give the ladies their Roses! Outstanding play across the board, USA!
