This terrarium is a dry terrarium, meaning it is mainly catered toward succulents and other drought-tolerant species in an open-air vessel (thanks @accentdecorinc). When I lived in New York, I was never a big succulent guy, but they’ve grown on me quite a bit since moving to California, and they’re the quintessential choice for this build. I went to the famous Los Angeles Flower Market to pick up these 2” and 4” succulents, and their muted colors tastefully fit the desert landscape and driftwood. I would only use airplants if you’re keeping it indoors as they will dry up quickly in the outdoor sunlight ☀️⁣
