In other parts of the world unmanned airports can be much busier than in the USA, so critically important. Pilots in such areas are generally very proficient and friendly on the radio.

Great video, I live near an uncontrolled Airport just outside the Class B Airspace of PHX which is frequently used for flight training. Some of the radio work is really poor, and obvious the CFI's haven't taught proper radio communications. I often hear the speed talker, who rushes the transmission and can't be understood, or the abbreviated talker who shortens everything including the airport name, and here pilot mispronouncing he Airport name, or calling it by the name of a near by VOR. If they listened to the AWOS the name of the airport is pronounced correctly.

This video reflects how I was taught a very long time about by my CFI.

I don't have many unmanned airports near me. If you were to come almost straight in on this example, how often would you report your distance? Every mile from 10? Would you overfly and enter on the right?
