Well Nietzsche was a humanist himself and the thing is, humanism is way more than “okay let’s all be good to one another”.
The basis of the humanist thinking comes from leaving religion aside and focusing on what humans really need part of which is Autonomy (being able to do whatever you want) but also morals and here, the morals focus more on things that improve human conditions on the long run.
If you actually pay attention, most of nietzsches work stems from humanism.

It is possible that morals evolve based on what is healthiest for the well being of the group, perhaps this is a response to that question. You could still argue why should the group be well, but at least then you have chosen a path to defend

Maybe cause bad things usually lead to more suffering than good things

By the standard that being alive allows more possibilities than being dead, for example? What kind of ultra relativism is this?

Hedonism.
Pleasure is craved by humans to end their suffering, and concepts like war and untruth lead to suffering. (Death, hunger, trust being broken, etc.)

Cheer~~an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.😊

to a sadist or psychopath, pleasure maximisation is achieved by inflicting suffering. without the christian religion, the humanist has no grounds on which to demand utilitarian or hedonistic ideals of societal wellbeing. in nature, all beings act out of their own self-interest in survival and reproduction and this also applies to when they cooperate in tribes. many pagan religions, cultures and traditions across many regions consider tribal discrimination as a good for their own advancement over others. the political and philosophical presuppositions we unthinkingly hold today are rooted in christian principles, and the more society strays from it do we see a return to violent, greedy, tribalistic warfare - whether as street violence, class warfare or violent protests
