As much as this film can be a bit samey with its action and story patterns in parts, its concepts and ideas like this that save it from being completely generic. A planet thats wildlife is basically one hive consciousness/database, that the Na'vi can use to access memories of not just their past but the pasts of other creatures, is such an incredible idea to play with. Hopefully we get to see more exploration of it and its implications in The Way of Water later this year :)

Parker is hilarious. Logically speaking to someone who doesn’t know the blue aliens, it sounds like exactly how Parker explained it. 😂

This was my biggest gripe with this movie on the first viewing.
The protagonists and setting were fascinating, but then the antagonists were just SOO one-dimensional, with a cliched motivation. Just flat irrational greed and nothing else.
