I don't understand how a true Dead Space fan could dislike the game. Not only is the soundtrack fucking masterfully done, but I thought DS3 expanded the universe just right. I love the trilogy to death and I don't think even one game is significantly better or worse than the other. Haven't played many games with a better atmosphere than this trilogy.

This game is so massively underrated it's a damn near criminal offense. Saved the best for last.

Cry of the Ancients was my favourite from this soundtrack. I used to jam that on my iPod Classic

I love Dead Space 3. In my experience it has some of the scariest moments in the franchise, such as the first time you run into the desiccated skinny Necros or the anticipation of boarding the derelict ships above Tau Volantis and abandoned shelters of the base. There is nothing like knowing you can't stay outside without dying but inside is only marginally better.

Still here in 2020, legends never die

I only played the DS3 from the series and I have to say it has one of the best and most rewarding weapons customization systems to date.

I love all three dead space parts, the story, the setting and the soundtrack.

Love this game and Jason Graves owns the score. It's like John Williams has scored the The Thing.

1:12:38 this is why you came here. This is one of the most touching moments of any videogame out there. The music fits perfectly with the scene with Issac and Carver.

If anyone has a ps3 and has the game, you interested in playing co op with me? Even if you read this comment 5 years later believe me I'd still want to play with you. I love this game and this franchise for life.

Dead Space 3 whas for me the best from the series. I loved how they took the feeling from the movie THE THING in it. There was a game from THE THING but they never made another one. For me Dead Space 3 is THE THING 2

ds1 was great, dark, and the ishimura looked as if it could fall apart any minute. that alone already gave me the creeps. back when it came out. ds2 gave me less the creeps. too bright and too much light. but coming back in the ishimura gave me the creeps again. gave me the feeling of ds1 and the thought of "shit, do i really have to go back trough that shit?" and some new necro's. And ds3 was awesome, tense trough the music and compelling. an old military space fleet. gave back the feeling of ds1 that these ships could fall appart any minute now. the space mines. the necro's were fast. the entire setting gave me the feeling its not safe being here. just awesome and huge.

Well, it seems that I'm a moron, but I liked Dead Space 3 the best.
The sounds were great, enemy design was delightfully grotesque and the weapon building was fun to tinker with.
And say what you want about the ending, but the sheer proportions were epic. And the fact you were using [REDACTED] as weapons.
That all and the fact I'm a huge lore nerd, so I was genuinely interested what would happen next.

You mean the conning tower mission in chapter 5? The "dead dude" Tucker Edwards actually has 3 different songs he plays over the speakers, but the last one (in the room where you find his body) is titled "You Want Me, Here I Am." Someone posted it here on youtube by the name of DaisOfDestuction if you wanna hear it.
Hope that helped!
