About the Video:
Battle of Tanore
After the death of Sultan Sikandar Shah, Nasrat Shah took the masnad of Pandua under the name Shyamshuddin II. On the other hand, another son , Ghiyasuddin Azim Shah, declared himself an independent Sultan outside Pandua and sought the help of Ganesha, king of Bhaturia. Ganesha accepted and started arranging logistics and troops for the war.
On the northern route of Chalanbil, the military campaign started from Satgara .Azim Shah was being chased by the enemy. He fled towards Bhaturia. Ganesh's army intercepted with thirty- two thousand soldiers .Nasrat Shahi army near Tanor. A fierce battle ensued between the two sides and Azim Shah was killed .
Nasrat Shah now attacked Ganesh but was killed in the battle with Ganesh. ( 787 Hijri).
Feroz Shah and Hamza Shah:
Shihabuddin was succeeded by his son Alauddin Firoz Shah as Sultan but was soon deposed by King Ganesh. After his ouster, he left & attempted to establish control over Muazzamabad in East Bengal and fought with Ganesha Narayan. But Ganesh Narayan defeated and killed him and Hamza Shah left Bengal after being totally defeated in the Battle of Bayezidpur . Hamza Shah attempted to recapture Gaur from the Bihar region until 1402, with the help of Shiv Singh, king of Ainowar of Mithila, Ganesh killed Hamza Shah.
Ganesh ruled peacefully till 1412/13 and died. His son Yadunarayan ascended the throne and an accident happened.
Yadunarayan fell in love with a Pathan woman named Asmantara & tries to marry her. But the Varendra Brahmin clan was against her marriage. Due to strong opposition , Yadu converted and married Asmantara.Jadu became Jalaluddin.
The Hindu subjects and feudal lords were angry at the conversion of Yadunarayan and Mahendra Dev took advantage of this incident to attack and capture Pandunagara.
Mahamahopadhyay Harprasad Shastri, Nagendranath Basu, and Nikhilnath Roy date this 'Punthi' as 200 years old(1622 century). Shriyukta Nikhil Babu has published this book with annotations in his journal "Shaswati".
The verse of this Kulji
"যবনাঞ্চ দূরীকৃত্য কংসকুলং নিহত্য চ।
পাণ্ডুয়ায়াং দেবরাজ্যমনেনৈব প্রতিষ্ঠিত"
Mahendra, son of Chandiparayan Devendra eliminated Yavans and killed the Kansakulas and established the Deva kingdom in Pandunagar. Yadunarayana did not die in this battle though.
Most likely he escaped somehow & probably took political refuge in Jaunpur.
