Is Blazor TRASH?!

Today we go over some of the gripes with Blazor, from finding jobs, to the community, to some technical issues that i havent discussed in other videos. Do you agree? Is Blazor still worth learning?

For me as advanced Blazor developer there's no issue with animations at all. Imo Blazor is game changer because it allows you to do frontend even without using JS at all. (ofc it depends on complexity). I try to avoid using JS as much as possible if there's no need to. (In most cases there's no need at all). Presented problem with animation during page reload is good example of Blazor JSInterop issue but it can be easily handled. I am certain it's a matter of time when Microsoft will solve all the Blazor major issues, especially looking on how they solve major WASM issue with is multithreading. Probably that's the reason why Microsoft do not promote Blazor yet due to existing problems. It is worth to mention that you can mix Blazor with any other JS technologies like React/Angular where you can build complex frontend pages without having any issues that Blazor may have. In addition it is worth to consider why to use Blazor because it offers posibility to create apllication not only for web but also for other platforms like Android/iOS/WPF/Winforms, even CMS like Wordpress too! What's more you can add support to other platforms mostly based on components you may already created for web. Thanks for video, waiting for more! :)

Blazor United will help. One of Blazor's biggest benefits (multiple hosting models) is also a big drawback in terms of learning curve for new developers. Also, I think there are too few templates for authentication and authorization, so starting that first project that handles login is a little bit daunting especially once you start tripping over Duarte Identity Server licensing nonsense.

7:30 Blazor was out in .NET Core 3.1, because I had to upgrade some packages to 5.0, than 6, than 7.

Big issues with Blazor preventing adoption not mentioned in video:
SignalR troubles with Server version
For Webasm, Firewalls and Virus Scanning blocking Dlls (aka .Net dlls and third party dll's coming down to browser)
Of course, there's the download size for Webasm (those pesky dll's).
Do these issues make it trash? Depends.

Blazor United and WebCli are badly needed to maybe bring Blazor to something for the masses.

I just got an internship and I work with blazor. It’s not excellent but works well enough in general. I’ll check if it really is good

Looks like you dont understand how actually blazor works both server and webassembly. Otherwise you would understand why your sprite example fails you.

I don't think it's entirely trash, but I don't think it's ready for use within our company, either. There are so many pain points in my current project and they're all coming from Blazor WASM. Like, for instance: have you tried using the debugger with Blazor WASM? It's awful.

Blazor is new, javascript is 30+ years old, and ALL of the other frameworks uses js. Give blazor a chance, its a billion times better in ALL aspects than all the other frameworks

On my opinion Blazor is interesting technology but it is not ready for production. And unfortunately it grows too slow even compare to Rust analogs.

Stop talking about something you have no clue about.
You are harming the technology instead of helping it.
These examples you brought are super easy to create in Blazor and there is 0/zero need of JS to make it work.
You need to learn WEB fundamentals before trying to give scores to specific technology.
