Me pretending to be "happy" when my family took me off of my antidepressants because they concluded I didn't need it anymore.

EDIT: Wow, I just logged into this account to check a person I'm subbed to and didn't expect to see a whole wave of compassion from all of y'all. I really appreciate it. What had happened occurred about 5 years ago when I was 14. During that time, we had to get my mom some vital medication or else she would be dead by now. My parents could have told me the truth, they couldn't afford my antidepressants because my mom's life is at risk, but they instead decided to lie at the time and tell me "you seem to be acting normally, I don't think you really need them anymore." So for the past years, I've tried everything to cope with my mental illnesses alone; healthy, unhealthy, and harmful coping mechanisms. As an adult, I realize it's become more apparent that I cannot function normally off of medication based on the short period when I turned to OTC drug abuse and suicidal thoughts getting more difficult to resist. My anxiety attacks had also become more frequent during quarantine and the election. I'm just a day away from having my first psychiatrist appointment in years, so I can get the help I need and recover from my past (a lot of other fucked up mess happened to me that wasn't caused by my parents, and left me with some shitty trauma.)
Thank you guys so much for your support, reaching out, and making sure I'm safe. Words can not express the euphoria I feel right now. Again, thank you.
