Is the screen glass or plastic? Is there some protection or I need a screen guard ?

Such an awesome display and love that it has rdna 2 graphics. Wish there was a 96whr battery like in some previous models for insane battery life, but I'm sure it will still be good with how efficient the 6900HX is. My big complaints are minor design choices, like the badge on the lid with hashtags, and the orange button on the green model that doesn't match at all. I get that you guys want to distinguish this laptop from other thin/light laptop for students/young professionals, but I think you can achieve that without all the inspirational text and unique details on the keyboard. The split portruding badge and new color option is enough to seperate this laptop from others.

Can the extra SODIMM slot fit a 16GB stick? Taking the total up to 24GB, or is 8GB the cap?

Haven't yet reinstalled Windows 11. Intel's driver update works fine, have the latest Intel Bluetooth and Video drivers. The screen often blanks out, then returns. Connecting my bluetooth headset almost always fails and subsequently causes the laptop to restart.

Am I the only one who feels that ESC should not be coloured Red? And, why that power button is awfully placed between Prt Scr and Del? I hope anyone can explain me why they make these kind of ridiculous choices.

Please remove the protruding logo on the lid, or at least make it flat to the lid surface. And the ports better placed most of them on the left side, kinda getting on the way when using mouse

These look very nice. 6900HX makes so much sense for thin and lights, gives very decent amount of processing and graphics power, without need for discrete GPU for light gaming (i.e. this is what is in the Steam Deck). Lack of any card reader is unfortunate, though. C'mon manufacturers, people own and use SD and micro SD cards for all sorts of things, and having at least a mSD reader in a laptop should be mandatory. Much, much smaller devices have them. No excuses.

Special thanks to Asus for listening and bringing out the AMD model.

One request to Asus.

If you are bringing an awesome laptop with Intel variant please provide an option with AMD variant because customers are really interested in AMD and not really in Intel at least in India.

It's a different topic that Intel fine boys are here too much in India and based on intels passed reputation the interstellar selling and the brain was AMD customers and force them to buy Intel but the one who know about AMD never goes for intel and when Asus is not providing any option for AMD then customers are bound to buy Intel which is not at all customer satisfaction.

Even if Asus is bringing out AMD model then that super cool Intel model features are missing including the looks and the aesthetic they provide in Intel variant.

So please Asus provide and option with AMD variant and please consider Linux!

30% of the market in India is Linux right now and customers are really interested to buy them including software developers and normal people but there is no option neither support that is the reason people are bound to get windows variant.

At least provide a customer support or hardware support with Linux OS.

India is really huge market and if you can play like a smart then really Linux will rock and please don't include privacy mining features in Linux.

You can create and monthly fees subscription in Linux which will obviously generate revenue but please provide an option with Linux.

Hope Asus will listen and do something.

I have a 5900hx and 6800m but the screen is LCD. I don't know why they don't put OLEDs in their flagship gaming devices rather than keeping them only on thin and lights.
