LLS is leading several critical collaborative research efforts to understand COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness for blood cancer patients. As a patient who used Gazyva, I didn't not produce antibodies (after 3 doses of Pfizer) but had a robust T cell response. Right now we don't know how protective T cells are but understand it is being researched. I would love to get more information on this once data is available. I am willing to join any research on this as well. I am not a blood cancer patient, but still hang in the balance same as cancer patients who did not mount a full response to the covid vaccines. If you could advise where to obtain more information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Resourceful and informative. As a CLL patient currently being treated with Calquence, have received two Phizer vaccination shots for Covid and am actively participating in the LLS antibody study. I am receiving my Phizer booster shot tomorrow (100121). I wonder how soon after receiving the booster might I donate a second blood sample for the LLS CLL antibody study? Thank you:)
