Hi Biddy, I first came across you when I started reading Tarot in 2009 and I now read professionally, but have only ever done face to face readings. I found this video while searching how to make the shift from face to face to online readings, and even though it's a great video, I'm not sure it answers the questions I had in mind when I started looking into this. What I wanted to know specifically is HOW to conduct an online tarot reading, because when I do my face to face ones, I give the pack to my clients and allow the cards to take their energy and their higher self picking which cards are for them. Obviously I sage and clean the cards after each client! :) I also read blind. That is, I tune into the client before meeting them and tend to predict successfully what they want to get out of the reading, which suit will be prevalent, etc. However I have never once asked a client to tell me their question, or even a rough outline of what they want guidance on (health/career/love etc). I do it all intuitively and read what I see. Am I the only tarot reader who does this? I never realised before but the more I research, the more Tarot readers I find who talk about the client's question. It never occurred to me to ask...it feels like cheating somehow?! I have hundreds of fab reviews using my blind reading methods, and much prefer to keep doing it this way...but still have no idea how to start online readings! How exactly do you cut/choose the cards when doing an online reading? It might seem very obvious to a reader who always chooses clients' cards, but since I've never worked in this way I am clueless! Any help greatly appreciated :)

I did email and online readings for years and stopped when my health got in the way in 2017. I can't sit for very long due to back pain but I really want to begin doing readings again. I can definitely voice record a reading while standing or walking around. ❤

This is really great! I know intuitively what the cards mean but don’t know how to tell the story with the cards to make it a real reading if that makes sense.

Hello! How do we ask our clients to co create the reading with us? Do I ask my client to reflect after I have written out the reading or do I send the photo of the cards first and let them reflect & feedback to me before I proceed with the reading?
