The song "Parishaan" from the new Niyaz album, SUMUD. Composed by Azam Ali, Loga Ramin Torkian and Carmen Rizzo, this song is based on traditional poetry by beloved 11th century Persian poet Baba Taher.

I first heard Niyaz on the 'Rumi Returning' documentary about 2005. I liked what I heard, so I went & got their debut CD, then every one they put out after. Nice : I haven't listened to them in a while : I've been busy discovering a whole world of music since officially entering the 21st century.
