In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to fix the Autocad slow performance, slow mouse movement commands run slow and AutoCAD hangs or freeze. MOUSE LAGGING, SLOW, JERKY MOVEMENTS WHEN DRAWING IN AUTOCAD.

More AutoCAD performance Issue:
- Commands run slowly or hang after execution.
- Object selection lag.
- Mouse movements are slow, hang, skip, or hesitate.
- The program intermittently pauses or freezes.
- Drawing files are slow to open.
- Files take a long time to regenerate during drawing navigation.
- Turning on hardware acceleration degrades performance.
- Degraded performance over time.
- Dialogues (like plot dialog) are getting opened very slowly.

Fantastic video, my problem was however using an older version and the company I work for only keeps the latest version updated with all latest updates. The lagging can cause enormous anxiety!!!

This only video that actually helped solved my cad lag problem. I think the CAD I received are exported from bim or revit file. it was really slow. Thank you very much appreciate your video.

Do you use Autocad Architecture? (I saw it pop up briefly on your video)
I use ACA2020 but for many releases back to 2015?? selecting an AECSpace causes a ~10 second delay. It appears to be looking for something (data?).
Sometimes it does not happen. It's either happening or it's not. Once it starts happening it keeps happening.
Sometimes restarting ACA and it does not happen... for a while.
Very painful.
Selecting spaces with other items it does not happen I assume because the properties pallete does not display space info.
I'm assuming it's some look up, cache, search function but I can't narrow it down. No one else seems to have the problem.

hello, thank you for the video i have issue with my autocad it runs very slow in my pc, i have a ddr4 16gb, i7 6700k, gtx titan Z, and i dont think i have to low my resolution for my pc to run it smoth, for example i push prespull and autocad stuck i loading, i pres esc and pres it 5-7 times so the app dont stuck, the mouse start running slow, and i tryed reinstall it and nothing worked even when i lowered the 3d graphic same thing happend, can you please help me, do i need another plug inn or something ?
