I just picked up a CX-5 in this trim after getting rid of my 2015 VW GTI which unfortunately required a litany of very expensive repairs one after the other over the past six months.
I've got to say, it feels a lot like the GTI only higher.
Firm but not at all harsh suspension, firm steering with a tight ratio, extremely high interior quality, high quality physical controls located right where they should be.

For the longest I’ve been wanting the Crv after the remodel came out. I currently have a civic so I was like let me stick with Honda. But I do have a heavy foot and just hated how it lagged. And the reason why I wanted a CRV was for the bigger space and mostly AWD (I live in nyc) I saw this Mazda CX5 on the road and it made me reconsider. I love how it looked and the size as well. I’m here reading the comments and now want a cx5

Just got a 2023 CX-5 and I’m glad I did. I like the painted fenders on the 2024 however they all come standard with i-stop. Super annoying that you have to turn that off every time you start the vehicle.

Thanks for the review. I just purchased a 2023 preferred and was really curious what the added features would be. I do like the painted trim alot! Mine is in gray though so the trim doesnt stick out too much. My biggest complaint on the whole vehicle is not having a digital speedometer. If the 2024 one had it I would have been kicking myself for getting the 2023 🤣

Probably going to get this for myself after the redesign releases, I just need hopefully a little more leg room in the second row and head room and a little more rage. Just make it slightly larger everywhere and keep good driving dynamics and it will be perfect!

We have a 2021 Porsche macan turbo and we also have a 2023 Mazda CX-5 turbo 💨💨 super comfortable and fast really enjoy the cx-5.

We just purchased the 2024 CX5 select trim and so far just getting used to. Not liking the screen not being all touch screen tho. We plan to drive this car for a long time and go as much road tripping as we can in it.

Hi Ben, Like your review. Not sure if realize this small detail has been omitted on this S preferred trim that has just about everything you could want. It is missing SIRIUS XM. In order to get sirius you have to jump up to the premium trim. That will cost you approx $3, 250 just to get a satellite radio. Just ridiculous on Mazda's part. It's a huge negative. I am sure it doesn't even cost mazda $100 to include it. That is one way to get peoples money.
