I don’t think i’ve ever seen footage of an actual live performance from elvis in the 50s. He really subdued himself on tv. Made me really understand just how radical (almost dangerous) elvis was in the 50s. The parents looked shocked

Why oh why weren’t there more videos of Elvis Presley’s live performances in the 50s.

The amount of lost gold that could of been recorded at the time and apparently, he did at least 200+ concerts in the 50s.

Bothers me like crazy that more of it wasn’t recorded. At least we have the scraps that we have for a silver lining. 🤷🏽‍♂️
