Big Political War Over NEET 2024 Row | Oppn Demands NEET Cancellation, BJP Defends | India Today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted a retest of the NEET-UG examination for 1,563 candidates at six centres in four states and a Union Territory on Sunday amid the paper leak row. NTA and Union Education Ministry officials were present at the examination centres.

The retest took place from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The exam was conducted after the NTA withdrew grace marks awarded to students who were compensated for loss of time due to delay in the start of the examination at six centres in Meghalaya, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Chandigarh.

The affected students were granted grace marks and given an optional chance to appear in the exam.

Dear Sir,

I want to bring it to your kind notice that I have studied hard for 3 years and given the NEET exam 2024 with full sincerity, and by God's grace secured a good score and rank at the time of declaration of result.

The real ordeal started when I was thinking of relaxing and celebrating my success, all the social media gurus and coaching institutions started vouching for re NEET just to gain likes and TRPs.

Sir, the effort which goes into preparation of such a tough competitive exam not only exhausts the candidate physically and mentally but also the family and near ones are affected directly or indirectly.

Each member of the family bears the brunt either in the form of lost work days to support the child or due to the hefty coaching fees which the parents arrange silently compromising their own necessities.

The irregularities which happened during NEET 24 exam are not my fault so why am I being made the scapegoat for all the punishments.

Sir, it's a kind request from a genuine candidate to stop this Re-NEET campaign otherwise the young hardworking youth will lose the faith in system and government forever.

When u can't conduct assembly polls in one day.. it's conducted in 5 Phases.. how could u think it's possible to conduct Neet in one single day all over the Nation.. we got so many good colleges in the South.. only .. people from Northern states are occupied..
