Bennington QX30 850hp Pontoon - (2022) Daytona Boat Show

The Bennington QX30 is a pontoon like no other I have ever seen! A pontoon boat in my mind would be around 24ft in length, carry around 6 people, and powered by somewhere in the region of 75hp outboard. This however, is the king of pontoons!

Measuring in at just over 31ft in length, with a beam of 10ft, and a draft of 3ft, this pontoon can carry 21 people onboard! The real headline though, is that power! This pontoon is powered by twin Yamaha V8 outboards producing 425hp, for a total of 850hp!! In the right conditions, this will allow you to reach speeds in excess of 60mph!!

That looks like one badass pontoon boat. That's what I could use up here in the mountains in North Carolina to go out in on the lake for a party/fishing boat. Don't know how well it would have worked when I lived in Bradenton but I'm sure it would have been fine for the intercoastal. 60 mph? I could fish lake hiawassee real fast or should I say reel fast?
