Happy New Year Brotherhood! Please tell me, there was another record on YouTube of this song, about 10 years ago. The filming was a side note from the performer. There was also a lot of artificial fog. Either on the phone, or filmed on a good camera. You could see Satriani playing very close. The performance was very emotional and bright. I can not find. Thank you in advance!

I admire what Joe, vai and the likes have achieved with the electric guitar wizardry. They have pushed the boundaries and amazed us all with supper fast phrases and runs, however I'm amazed at how poor their acoustic guitar ability is. They all seem to be limited to only being able to play their lead licks on it. It's sort of like a pianist just playing the melody with is right hand leaving his left tied behind his back. It's sound crap.

They don't seem to be able to accompany their melodies with a running bass line over the top.

When you compare them to the likes of Tommy Emmanuel you will begin to see what I mean.

They have spent all their bedroom time practicing their shred licks instead of taking a more balanced approach and truly mastering the guitar.

Richie Sambora, at the age of 53 has decided to learn the acoustic guitar after listing to Laurence Juber playing ōn his own In a guitar shop.

Don't bother buying these cheapy acoustic guitars. There are far better ones out there. Taylor gs mini is a great guitar for the money. Blueridge br163 or 183 great for blues. All solid wood. They best guitar I've played and have is a Taylor 914ce. It's simply brilliant!!
