I like the precursor components and the path to determine where you are in terms of load and intensity.

It seems so straightforward but I know a lot of people (including myself) tend to overlook the importance of these steps.

After all, if you don’t know where you’re at how are you supposed to get where you want to go?

I sprained my ankle a year ago and then again n May. I've been walking and some small hikes and no pain but last night I ran 2k, My left non injured ankle was fine but right one had some pain. It's not super sore just aches and I wonder if I am ready to run again to train for a 10k. I had an ankle strap on but wondered if it's dangerous for me to ruin on it. I can walk pain free.

So I sprained my ankle playing basket ball, gave 3-4 days off rest. And then decided to play the ankle still had swelling and a little discomfort but I was able to handle it intill I rolled my ankle again. I would say my ankle reach the state it was before a got sprained again. About the same small discomfort should I let it rest more? The swelling there and the pain is slightly to non only really hurts when I twirl it on full range on motion but the pain is small. What do you think? Thanks

Sir I got my ankle twisted 4 month ago..Doctor cleared their is no fracture & after 15 days of rest he allowed me to start exercises including running. I still feel minor pain & there is little swelling around ankle. Should I resume running & that pain will vanish with time ?
