Im not a soldier but hope to be one day, nor am i an Aussie, im British. My Father, both his brothers, my brother in law, both grandads, and their fathers and their fathers for decades and decades, all served in the British army, i in fact am named after a family member who served in WW1, so i have thr greatest repect for those who endured the absolute horrors of war recent and old, i'll never forget what they gave to give me the freedom i have today.
We will remember them.

I had 5 uncles in WWII in all branches of the services and they were lucky enough to come home. My children’s great great grandfather is buried on The Somme, after surviving Gallipoli. His name is on the Wall of Remembrance in The National War Memorial for my children to visit. Lest we forget ……

Coming back to England after many years abroad, where today is sacrosanct, I am appalled to find that England chooses to ignore today, having moved it to another. My country and its leaders are now a shameful shadow of once was. Amen
