Cheguei pra Ficar - Dominguinhos

Ten years ago I left the United States to go to the source of the regional music of the Americas. Into the unknown and with no time frame the music swept me away on this apparently unending journey. Still in Brazil, where I have been for the past nine years, my research and art continues to evolve and expand. This song of the Maestro, Dominguinhos, sums up my experience whose title translated means, I arrived to stay. So it seems, though the world is a big place with each region of each country having its specific culture and music. At the right moment I will continue this road forward but first the song cheguei pra ficar. Enjoy!
