Excel VBA Project in VSCode with XVBA Extension - First Steps

Hi Albert,

Love the extension, just wanted to point out to others that I had trouble getting it working. I realized that since my files are located on OneDrive by default, the extension didn't work properly. Not sure why but make sure that all of your files are saved locally!

Like many below I was getting the error 'Error in AutoloadModules : File name or class name not found during Automation operation', where the test.bas file was not saved as a module in the .xlsb file. I had my project folder saved in a OneDrive backed up directory. When I moved it to a plain C:\ drive directory it worked, the modules where uploaded.

This is not a full explanation, but I have had problems in the pas using file paths from one drive, and if spaces are not saved as '%20' (you can google what this means), the links I make won't open. Maybe this is related?

Hi there, having trouble with this extension. When I import an excel file to get the modules, it just opens the config file. I'm not sure how to edit this.

How can I replicate this while adding a certain folder multiple different binary index Excel files, for the purpose of working with different data sheets that each may have a certain amount of unrelated macros. I would like to be able to open it all in VS Code without having to create a folder for each of the index files.

When I try to import, a .vbs file is opened with text editor and I cannot import an excel file with a macro. How can I import a file?
XVBA ver is 4.0.30, and VS Code ver is 1.84.2 on Windows.

I using Corporate PC and Macro are deactivatied excepte for signed macro. I can't change the option . my own macro works well but not macro generated by third party . any workaround please. ?
