Here is my final video in preparation for the release of the Rain World Remix update (free) and Downpour DLC (paid). Unfortunately I couldn't include every tiny useful detail that each slugcat might have and some elements I didn't manage to provide the best showcase of, but I hope you still find this video useful and entertaining. In the future I plan to release each slugcat's section as a separate shorts video. Have fun with the new update!

imagine if five pebbles fused all the slug cat species together even ones we have yet to see and then we get to play as it a crafty speedy grappling explosive spear thrower who has achieved enlightenment(and maybe some other creatures like red, white, orange, and cyan lizards or a gun vulture

My question is if while playing with these slugcats, the creatures spawns will be based on the Monk, Survivor or Hunter slugcats

I have basicaly no knowledge of rain world, never knowing of It despite YouTube saying It released in 2017, and the only gameplay video of rain world Ive watched is albino's 30 minute video of what i believe is the beggining of the game.
Even then, this video was informative enough that i understood the way each slugcat works, and How to use them If i wasint too poor for buying games let alone DLC, meaning you made a pretty good video i guess.

Also If i could id totaly play the artificer, im the type that likes to use explosives If its an option.

Spearmaster is hands down the best one out all of them.

You forgot that the artificer can parry while crouching which will stun nearby creatures and make scavengers drop their weapons. This is an amazing combo with its ability to maul stunned enemies. The artificer can fight a lizard unarmed just with this trick.

Rivulet > Spearmaster > Saint > Artificer > Survivor > Hunter > Gourmand > Monk

That clip you showed of arti parrying a spear was incorrect, the jump is not the parry ability, try holding down while doing the explosive jump that preforms a new move called a "parry".

I only played this game when it was new. What happened to that slug cat who could carry an extra spear on its back and could only feed on other creatures because it was a carnivore slugcat.
