I get it. It's just nice to get out and surf something, especially when the weather is nice. The waves were far from good but at least everyone seemed to have fun.

I was an El Porto surf rat 🐁 back in the early 1980s. Looks funny with all of the wet suits in the middle of the summer. Looks like the usual small close out waves. El Porto was usually smoking hot two or three times per year with the correct swell pumping in.

why do people insist riding shortboards on these waves. clearly the guys having most fun in this vid are those with longboards. and I say that while I'm not even a longboarder myself

What is with surfers wearing full suits in the summer when the water is in the high 60’s and sometime low 70’s? 😂 When I surfed Porto from the late 80’s to the early 2000’s, no one put on a full suit till at least late November/December. Todays surfers are a bunch Nannies.
