Turkey floods: drone footage shows widespread devastation in Bozkurt

At least 44 people have died from the floods in the northern Black Sea region in Turkey, the second natural disaster to strike the country this month. Drone footage shows massive damage in the town of Bozkurt, where emergency workers were searching demolished buildings.  Torrents of water tossed dozens of cars and heaps of debris along streets, destroyed bridges, closed roads and cut off electricity to hundreds of villages

the buildings look out of place in the terrain. It looks like they are on the pathway of the river. Not sure what else to expect.

More trees need to be planted, more needs to be done, we need to go back to basics, back 50 years from now, we need to slow down, we need to save earth for our children .

A town built along a river, in a valley, between mountains!.. Well duh!

What do you expect when you build a city in middle of valley. Where else that water should go. Just relocate people far away from river and clean and deepen river itself. Plant park and vegetation near river. It's a logical move not repairing and waiting for another dissaster.
