The worst part about getting my septum pierced was the clamps🤣Now, I’m a big fainter when it comes to getting blood drawn or any needles being sticked in me, so I was really really nervous about getting this done. When I got to the salon, the piercer was NOT friendly at all. Like she just wanted it to be over and done with, so she didn’t give me time to breathe and mentally prepare myself for the piercing.😂 well, I got my nostril and septum at the same time, and reddit told me that nostril hurts more so when I got my nostril done I was like, well that didn’t hurt much so my septum will go smoooothhhh. As soon as the clamps went on I was crying already. When she put the needle in, boy I tell ya, I felt every inch of that needle going through😂 I remember sitting very still so the piercer wouldn’t mess me up and then eventually she handed me a mirror to check it out but I was already hearing high pitched noises and had a dry mouth 🤣 I managed to pay for the piercing though and got back to my car where I proceeded to pass out. 🤣 10/10 would do it again.

I've had mine for about 4 months now and love it! I also got mine done in 14 gauge. It's nice to be able to hide it when needed and I have a few different styles to switch between and its nice to show off style with it. Sometimes I'll have spiked beads, round beads, or captive bead. Haven't found a clicker I really like yet though.

Well, I got mine done on the weekend! Hurt way way way Less than I expected. My lobes hurt more...the clamp was more painful.
Love it with my moustache lol.

Just got mine pieced yesterday, it didn’t hurt at all. I didn’t even feel it. But everyone is different. I love the small septum ring. It looks good on you.

When you get the piercing done tell the piercer you want to be able to flip it up. Because mine can't flip up 😬 My nose is super small and the piercing is therefore hanging kinda low so I can't hide it 😔 I saw the pull it to one side method but my piercing is also too small to go over the tip of my nose. It won't make it past the top ugh. (8 mm horseshoe)

I prop tissue in my nose to make it seem like I have a nosebleed to hide it from my parents.

I got mine done 2 days ago! It’s hard to clean my nose while it’s healing lol but other than that it’s totally fine. No pain. Only hurts when it moves.

Getting a Septum done tomorrow morning. I'm excited and quite nervous as well. I wanted to get a ring but I am thinking because I'll be a novice at this, I should get a horse shoe but I'm worried about losing a ball. Fingers crossed I don't :)
