For the Splashscreen in Ubuntu, I think the StartUp-Manager (sudo apt-get install startupmanager) works better. It has Boot Options tab and Appearance tab under which is Bootloader menu colors, Bootloader themes and Usplash themes,

The patcher seems a little sketchy... I want to apply it to Windows XP, but I know how vulnerable XP is now. Especially since the uxtheme is from Softpedia, and I've never been sure about that place.

You could also use Rain Meter which is for windows 7.

my folder (VistaOSX09) does not have any folders with 32bit or any kinda bit folders and i looked for any dll files to replace but i could not find a one so i skipped that part of it and it and now i still have the default theme when i did all the steps after it. i am on vista. and i am talking about the dll files you have at around 6:62 and at around 7:11. should i just look for a new them that has dll files or can someone help me hear?

It says something about Me having to eject Windows NT Disk, What should i do, other wise it says click okay to exit.
