Ok, wrong!!!! Yes inspired by, and the MV was brilliant! As for the actual Death becomes her movie plot:
Two life long frenemies vie for the attention of various men to one up each other. In this instance Helen (Goldie Hawn) was engaged to Bruce Willis’s character Ernest. She took him to a play in which her frenemy Madeline( Meryl) starred to see if he could pass a loyalty test. Ernest failed and it drove Helen crazy with revenge and Madeline and Ernest end up getting married. Helen met up with a woman that gave her an elixir of life, with several downsides to get revenge on Madeline and Ernest. Her murder plot went awry when Madeline also met the same woman who took the same elixir. Murder, tragedy and camp ensued. Friends/ frenemies reunited. Ernest got the hell out of there and our ladies needed a good sculptor to put them back together again.
