Okay I'll add my comment. I did find this interesting as a sort of look into something I used to do when I was a teenager. (I'm 51 now) I was into the CoCo3, OS-9 and into assembler, Basic09 and C.

But I started with the MC-10 as the very first computer I ever owned. And while I'm not hating the idea of using emulators, I am actually revisiting the old MC-10 hardware and the like. So if you wouldn't mind shifting down a bit and going into the MC-10 (emulated or otherwise) and assembling for 6803 and all that, it might be fun. It uses the drivewire thing as well with the MCX-128 (which I recently acquired). I will have an Emcee Server set up with a Raspberry Pi eventually but will probably run it from a laptop initially. I'm mainly a Linux user but I use Windows at work most often. I just love the old stuff and the 6809 is where I really got into it. But the MC-10 is kind of like "unfinished business" for me because I never did much with it before I dropped it in favor of the CoCo2 and then the CoCo3 and grew from there. And while I expect to actually follow the path (through emulation) back into the 6809 and all of that, I want to play with this MC-10/6803 machine because it's where I started and because this MCX-128 is rather intriguing. Being able to code and assemble for it using a PC would be a really cool way to develop and would really follow you closely if you were to do that.

And yes, if you needed anything to get you there, I would likely help through donations.
