I'm the oldest child in my family and most of this was true except the part about getting the most attention. I feel like the youngest gets the most attention because they can't comprehend things as well as the middle and older child can. I believe the parents think that since the older children know how to do basic things in every day life that the younger children need more attention and help with everyday activities. Every family is different but in my family the youngest gets the most attention.

The youngest get away with literally anything. My youngest sister could roundhouse kick me, uppercut me, and snap my neck, but my parents would get mad at me for hurting my little sisters knuckles.
