When Jimmy left the Navy to take care of his family's farm she said she almost left him. She was one of the truly great first lady's. He was very lucky to have her...

First Lady Carter was one of the few “genteel” women of the south. She was kind and soft spoken but not a wilting flower. She would get out and work side by side with regular citizens. Her and President Carter helped build houses for the habitat for humanity project. End of an era. Thank you for your service Mrs. Carter.💙💙
