The Rishi Sunak interview: Boris reunion, general election and country music | The Daily T podcast

Rishi Sunak has revealed that he recently talked to Boris Johnson about the risk Sir Keir Starmer, the Labour leader, poses to the country.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily T podcast, the Prime Minister said the pair were “literally in touch the other day”, but declined to say whether Mr Johnson would campaign for him.

He also said he was a Thatcherite, warned that the current level of immigration was “unsustainable” and defended his new national service policy.

Sunak is one of the best PMs this country has had in a very long time. He's young, intelligent, articulate and has a vision for the future of this country. Its refreshing to see how in tune hes is with the younger generation. One thing I like about him is that he's honest enough to acknowledge that things aren't goin well and doesn’t dodge the question. If he loses this election, it'll be a huge loss to the future of Britain. My only concern is that the British public do not like the idea of a brown PM that represents the UK and that really is a shame.

The only problem he’s has with the electorate is that he was selected and not elected. It is unfortunate because watching this interview he comes across as genuine and likeable unlike Starmer. Shame he hasn’t done more of these interviews it brings his personality across. If we end up with Starmer we are in big trouble as a nation.

He talks about family values, yet people cannot afford a house to raise a family. Too many people in the country. As of 2022 England surpassed India in terms of population density. Make no mistake, this guy only cares about his people. Get as many in as possible before the natives wake up.

I do actually like Rishi and I think he's making some good decisions. The conundrum is whether I'm willing to vote for a party that's already been in power 14 years and is essentially tearing itself apart, has been voted in based on lies and in particular in the last 5 years has been run absolutely chaotically. My lack of trust in them is at an all-time low
