For those who asked about her nationality, she is from Barranquilla which is a city in Colombia, her father’s family comes from the Middle East (as many families in that city). Barranquilla has a beautiful cultural mix, you will find Italian, arabians, Africans, germans, etc. I’m from that city and let me tell you that most of us know how to dance and we have the biggest carnival in the country. Shakira is one of our best artists (Caribbean coast is very proud of the ethnic mix and talent).
