Imagine someone stating a biological fact being described as ‘hate’. These people are nuts 😂

Far more worring than this professor speaking is people telling kids they were "born in the wrong body" just because they don't fit into gender stereotypes.

When they want to bring you down, they know you are above them.

Where I'm at with being accused of "transphobia":

1. For starters, I no longer give a f*ck, really. As it takes virtually NOTHING to get accused of it, these days! I would never physically attack anyone for identifying as "trans". I would not assume they were a bad person. I would not want them to get fired, or thrown out of housing. If somebody else physically attacked them, I would do my best to defend them. Plus if I knew them, and they were struggling with difficult issues in life, I would do my best to emotionally support them. Etc. While STILL not agreeing with the ideology, or seeing them as anything other than their biological sex. Thus refusing to pretend, as well. Because my values and principles are also important, and I deserve better than having to LIE about what I believe in. But when I say that a "trans woman" is indeed a man..? I don't mean it as a slur, and I don't mean it in a spiteful way. It is just simply a fact! Just like the fact that we're all mammals, and we are NOT plants. No matter how we feel, we can NEVER become plants. Even if we desperately wish we were.

2. ..Thus I am not phobic of the PEOPLE who believe in this! And especially when it comes to genuinely good, kind, compassionate, yet mentally struggling people, (be they male or female), who sincerely think they are "trans"..? I wish them all the best, and could very likely be friends with them, if they were also cool with my lack of belief in this, and consequent refusal to go along with the pretense! Although I do get mad at very entitled and sh*tty AGP TIMs, who obviously do not give a CRAP about women's rights and spaces, and only care about themselves.

3. I am 100% unashamedly anti the IDEOLOGY itself! I think it's horrible, regressive, sexist, homophobic, delusional, dysfunctional, and EXTREMELY harmful! So I am anti "trans" as a concept! I am anti "gender identity" as a concept! So if you want to call me transphobic, based on that..? Go right ahead! I also feel similarly about Islam. I really dislike Islam, as a religion! But I like and respect many individual Muslims! Plus I actually believe it is possible to practice Islam in a positive way, if you sort of cherry-pick from the Quran, and have good values starting out. Much like Christianity can be practiced in both beneficial and harmful ways, depending on each individual believer. But when it comes to gender ideology, in specific..? I really don't think it is possible to practice it in a positive way! It is possible to practice it in a way where you don't do medicalization, sterilization, self-harm, etc. Which is better than doing those things. But still, ultimately..? The underlying framework / ideology is INHERENTLY extremely harmful, regressive and dangerous, to the point of promoting dissociation, delusion, and mental illness! Not to mention EXTREME sexism! So.. I really don't think there is such a thing as a positive, harmless "trans light" / "gender ideology light", type of worldview. I think it's a horrible mental virus, that cannot possibly be anything BUT harmful, and that the only way forward for society is to completely reject it.

..Just some thoughts. And all the best to Kathleen Stock. She's really brave. <3

One of the embarrassing Oxford students (another bloke in a dress) was asked today why instead of making a lot of noise outside he didn't go in and debate his views ...the reply? exhausting to do that, that's why I'm out Really?! I remember when you had to be intelligent to go to university especially Oxford or Cambridge they now seem to specialise in choosing the thickest of the thick to attend

I have various phobias and I keep them to myself. I now self identify as transphobic and I believe that is my right. I do not wear clothing or other signs promoting and declaring my transphobia. Phobias are treatable and are not considered as an innate feature of a person. So why amongst my various phobias does transphobia attract so much violence? Those who know of my fear of fairground rides are nice about it and understanding, they do not make death threats. My conclusion is that those who are prejudiced against those of us with transphobia are just plain nasty. Ironically I am a member of the Oxford Union so I may be able to make this point in person.
