Jambo The Hairless Chimp Gets Into a Big Dispute !!

Jambo The Hairless Chimpanzee in the Chimpanzee Eden enclosure, his home at Twycross Zoo that he shares with his troop
Jambo is a great chimp, but as Alpha male he does show his dominance to the rest of the group and this often results in a dispute. Jambo picked up a small injury to his leg in this scuffle.
Jambo is a famous viral animal star and magnificent chimp
he is a chocolate chimp with genetic alopecia and is the male dominant chimp at Twycross Zoo
This rare colouration in chimpanzees is caused by a genetic condition.
He lost his unusual and rare brown fur over time due to the alopecia he inherited from his mother Coco, who also has the genetic condition caused by a recessive gene and has partial alopecia herself
Despite his alopecia Jambo is well liked and respected by the rest of the chimpanzee troop and as a result he is the dominant male chimp of his troop. The lack of hair shows his impressive muscle tone that all chimpanzees possess due to their huge strength and climbing abilities.

Jambo and the other Hairless chimps in his troop are residents at Twycross Zoo. The hairless chimpanzees and other chimps at the zoo respect and admire Jambo, which is why despite his Chimp Alopecia and chimpanzee battle scars he holds the rank of Alpha Male Chimp. He has so many scars and injuries due to the nature of the dominance displays that all chimps carry out in the wild and in captivity to win dominance and leadership within Chimpanzee family groups.

Jambo's berserk shrieks and flexes is what makes him the alpha male. No wonder he still has fight within him! Wish Mongo was still alive to be alpha, he'll make it great! At least, Jambo is a strong alpha in his own right. He's gentle with the ladies and the hairless beauty makes him defined in his era.
