I’ve been consistent on my fitness journey for well over 10 years now & I’m still going strong. 👊🏼
It’s been a motivational roller coaster of highs & lows too. There’s been multiple periods throughout my fitness journey where I just feel like I’m not giving my 100%. It’s like my motivation for whatever reason is just not as strong as it usually is & it’s harder to stay as dedicated during those periods. What I’ve recognized though over the years is that at least for me, there’s always going to be more periods where I feel like that. It is what it is 🤷🏻♂️ what matters most is how I deal with it.
Looking back, what’s been most important is that I’ve always kept pushing forward despite those low motivation periods. Those harder mental times always do end eventually. So if you never give up on yourself during those periods & stay strong, you don’t have to start over ever again. You persevered & now you can actually keep going rather than restart. Because now, new momentum will build up again & newfound motivation will help push you to get to that next level again! 🙌🏻
The trick is to make fitness be a routine of yours so it never feels like a restriction. You don’t have to overhaul your life; you’re creating a routine that fits into your world. The magic happens when fitness becomes a seamless part of your lifestyle, not an overwhelming challenge. Convenience is the real key to simplifying consistency! 🔥
But if it was easy, then everyone would do it. And that’s exactly why most people don’t & won’t. Real talk, it absolutely is worth it though. You have no idea what you’re missing out on until you actually experience what long term results really feel like from staying consistent on your fitness journey. 🤟🏻
