Don't forget not being able to type on your phone because your hand is so wet that your phone doesn't recognize it as a finger. And when the sweat dries it leaves splotches all over your screen:-(

Ik and every time I touch someone’s hand while my hands r sweaty before I do they say “no it’s fine idrc” so I do whatever I’m doing and they r like “ewww that’s so gross!” and I have to act like that didn’t just make my day bad. Spread the awareness.

Besides not holding hands, and phone and writting issues, I get heat blisters and my hands and feet. It gets so bad, that I needed a doctors note to be allowed to wear sandles to school as a kid. And now I'm dealing with athlete's foot due to excessive sock wear (and all treatments are super risky!!)

Only some of my close friends know my hands get sweaty a lot but they don’t know it’s a disorder
I try to wipe my hand as much and discreetly as possible before handshakes but I still have to make an excuse for my wet hands
Sometimes I can’t use my phone cause my hands are so wet the phone doesn’t recognize my finger
I avoid holding my girlfriends hand a lot so I don’t embarrass myself
