I did this for the first time in my garage just to make sure that I can do it while charging on a 120v outlet. Worked out well thankfully. Needed to make sure because I was going to camp a few weeks later and did not have access to a 14-50. Camped in 30 degree weather and kept the car at 70 at first but then it got too hot for my wife and I so we lowered it to 66. Car charged very slowly but, it worked out for us. I am 6'4 so I had to sleep at an angle which wasn't too bad once I found the right spot.
