The bicycle story reminds me of my dad. When I was 10-13, my bicycle got stolen. My dad, who is well known in our community, people ask him for favours etc but is also the town alcoholic, was shouting all around the community “whoever stole the bicycle, bring it back” with some threats (I’m Jamaican so add in some vulgar wording and curse words). Bike was back at my house next morning. ❤
