A used car salesman with a merchandising shop, at best. Of all the car shops that Discovery have turned into reality TV shows there is only one worse than Gas Monkey and that was also tied to Richard, Misfit Garage.

Hey good on him, he's found his money and doing well from it, but reality is he's a merchandising shop first, used car salesman second and a bunch of mechanics doing made for TV 'custom' cars third. And I have always said if it wasn't for Dennis Collins, a real car and jeep guy, Richard wouldn't get half the deals he gets both contact wise or money wise.

Richards greatest claim to fame, Cannonball Run's fastest time, was because of Dennis 🤣
