There are so many versions of this song. Sadly, too many try—misguidedly—to “dress it up” with fancy flourishes either instrumental or vocal. But the power and sublimity of the carol is in its simplicity. Haunting always beats booming every time when it comes to Christmas. This version nails it. Welcome, Lord Jesus.

Again as well done and beautiful as always. The star was a Godly miracle. The birth of Christ both a divine miracle, a blessing so fantastic that no words can tell it and the grace of God quite beyond human comprehension.
