I lived between Watkins And Geneva(for 15 yrs.) I would add; farmers markets, Penn Yan (because of the horse and buggy Mennonites, the wineries etc ;)

I'm visiting this area next week. Is there any particular town or city I should check out in the Finger Lakes area? I'll be coming from Rochester NY.

How did you arrive at these being the top 15? I mean yes, several of those are definitely top fifteen, but a) travel brochures have done better, and b) you missed some of the best. Chimney Bluffs State Park, Huron, NY; The Dropoff, Gannett hill at Ontario Park, Naples, NY; any view overlooking Seneca lake and Canandaigua lake; Cumming Nature Center, Naples, NY; Letchworth Gorge, Mount Morris, NY; Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge and Wetlands Complex, Tyre and Savannah, NY; Fair Haven Beach State Park, Fair Haven, NY. I could go on but you get the idea. Thanks for featuring our area though!

It is in fact Bristol Mountain in Bristol, NY.

NUMBER 4 IS NOT AN ATTRACTION !.. It is a true crime destroying a beautiful and big tree that way. Commissioners, State or Local Park Officials who authorized this horrendous work should be prosecuted.
