I view it as a cosmic horror movie. that she gets stuck in a reality where nothing weird happened so no one has any idea what she's talking about and is basically on a fast track to an insane asylum. This redundant doppelganger. In just a few minutes, she went from our hero to a villain ...simply for wanting a life that belongs to a better version of her. Definitely disturbing and brings up all kinds of really difficult questions. Bravo. You made one of the greatest movies ever with a budget smaller than that of 1 second of a Hollywood blockbuster

To me, this movie did seem like a horror movie in a inner “psychological” kind of way. “Am I the worst version of myself?” And the importance of how choices affect you was really highlighted. It honestly inspired me to get my shit together which is probably why it’s one of my favorite movies.

This movie is a masterpiece. "One-room" set movies is my favorite niche genre (along w time travel....) although Coherence isnt about time travel, i consider it hand in hand with PRIMER, the other mega low budget masterpiece! I cannot believe you did this without a script, thats insane....bravo cant wait to see more of your work!

Watched this movie yesterday. This is without any doubt the most underrated movie. I can't believe I never heard of this! It was an absolute blast! Especially because I knew very little. And to be fair I was quite bored in the beginning, but that was nice, it kept my guard down. The pacing was done so well, and every small reveal and detail kept me guessing what was going on. I already want to re-watch it as now everything will make more sense!
I am going to show this movie to everyone I know for sure, what an absolute masterpiece!

This is exactly the type of movie we need in today's era—no flashy effects, a modest budget, just pure creativity at its finest. The entire cast is spot-on, and Jim Byrkit truly shows his genius as a director. It’s exciting to think about what he could accomplish with an open Hollywood budget. I wish the director and the cast all the best and really hope we get to see more films from him, or even a sequel to Coherence.
