Attack on the convoy of BJP president JP Nadda in West Bengal on Thursday is now a full blown fight between the BJP-led central government and the TMC-ruled Bengal government. According to the latest update, the Ministry of Home Affairs have given deputation to 3 IPS officers, who were responsible for JP Nadda's security.

On the other hand, the Kolkata police has summoned income tax officials over the 2019 raids on stock brokers. The IT department has claimed tax evasion to the tune of Rs 8200 crores. The police has filed an FIR against tax officials.

West Bengal Minister Subrata Mukherjee made an explosive claim saying the BJP may conspire to assassinate Mamata Banerjee if it doesn’t win in the upcoming West Bengal polls.
