One thing I'd add is that in the beginning when you put the newspapers to cover you, use the 3rd paper and cover the conductor window so that outlaws can't shoot you.

me and my friend just bought a sniper rifle, a sentry gun (which we put on the roof of out train because that actually worked) and had a perfectly fine playthrough with barely any deaths, surviving on bandages without buying any snake oil. we didnt even buy any guns (except the sniper and the turret).

I prefer buying 3 coal at start. You can clear the first town with your shovel or use the cowboy class.

Also you can use a glitch to duplicate your revolver, first you get a revolver and its ammo, then empty the revolver and reload it while its reloading, drop the ammo and you will duplicate your ammo!

How to clear a town.
Have cowboy rank so you have a gun
Find a village
Stand on the wood thing meet the tracks and spank the zombies from the railings
Go get more zombies or 200 pump then go to the bank and and loot it
Do this and it's a ez way to get rich

for me my method is to save up the 50 from the gold and raid houses to get a rifle directly so i could snipe off the zombies with the rifle in towns
