This historical city, I mean really historic for us. The first time and the first city we explore as budget traveler on our own, no group travel, no guide, no fixed itinerary, after many times we
Just wander as tourist in a tour group.

What can you do in this beautiful exotic city Chiang Mai ? The top one is strolling around
The so called “Old City”. Pleasant atmosphere and cooler ( its cool when we were here )
climate makes it very enjoyable
And rewarding to explore this area on foot. ( Well this is typical of us, budget/bokek/pas2an traveler ….hehehee.

First we took photo at the corner where remnant of the old wall is, then walk to
Small temple, happened to be Wat Phabong, after a short time we move to
Wat Phra singh ( gold temple ) at the end of Rachadamnoen Road
In Wat Phra Singh we spend a lot of time, its huge temple, many places to explore and beautiful garden at the back with many “Quote” hanging at the trees.

The other day we explore the second biggest temple, Wat Chedi Luang,
And lucky we have weekend here in Chiang Mai and enjoy much the Sunday Walking Street. that run all along Ratchadamnoen Road, from Tha Phae Gate to Wat Phra Singh.
Nice and memorable time we had here in Chiang Mai.
