_Ekaggacittassa_ (Pali): singularity of spirit/nous/citta/’mind; burning away (by wisdom) of all objectivity

Japanese Zen from Chinese Chan and ultimately the original Pali/Sanskrit _Jhana_ ("jhayati/dhyana", i.e. "to burn off & away) is _theurgic—_ we cannot get there from here _ex nihilo_ by dint of reification ouroboruses alone. _Melete_ (Gr.) remains immanent to instrumental reason as a magnifying glass is used to increase something's resolution; _mneme_ (Gr.) re-collection, de-centration, dis-objectification is required for _anamnesis_ to apprehend and appreciate that Fourfold beyond serialized causal inventories for _enframing_ augury: burn the haystack to acquire the needle, rather than scrutinize each desiccated husk. The hay, (vritta, bhava); the flame, theurgic subjugation (nirodha) thereof; the glass used to not to magnify individual scatterings but to concentrate light, the "skillful means" of dis-objectified _presence._ (Cribbed via Ken Wheeler aka "Theoria Apophasis).

But in the end, he aliened his thinking to kind of cultural materialism, though he would likely reject that framing... that's why is originations of art where sort of second-ordering... I go into that in the second chapter of the art book I am writing; I joked with Michael Millerman about taking on Heidegger... was an interesting process. Best to go down swinging? :)
